We are working with a forward thinking Primary Academy in the heart of Islington who are looking for an experienced Full Time SENCO to join them to cover maternity leave.

 

As the SENCO you will work closely with pupils, teachers and parents, arrange meetings and assessments with external professionals and set up support plans for pupils with SEN. The school are looking for an experienced professional with the ability to handle sensitive situations.

 

The right candidate would have;

- QTS and SENCO Qualification

- Excellent communication skills

- Previous experience as SENCO

- Be organised, hard-working and have a strong interest in their own CPD

- Be committed to the pursuit of excellence in all areas

- A benefit would be to have experience with SEMH

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
