An extremely well-funded academy in Wembley is looking to hire a DT technician as a Head of Department to start working in January. The candidate must have experience managing a department as well as being CAD trained. It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience using CAM technology/software. The candidate will be working across 3 departments so experience with large workloads and multitasking is ideal so that the transition into the new role is smooth.

Essential requirements:

• In depth knowledge of the CAD/CAM software
• Extremely high regard for safeguarding
• Experience working in a workshop is necessary
• To undertake the correct Health and Safety procedures
• Carry out a range of Administration duties including; preparing cover work, teaching materials and booklets for class
• Ability to assess different methods of learning
• To assist with and ensure the correct usage of machinery
• Carry out weekly equipment checks
• Experience managing a department is necessary

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
