This large secondary school, are looking to recruit an experienced or Newly Qualified Teacher of Electronics (NQT) to start in January 2020. The school is an ambitious, inclusive and diverse secondary school. The school benefits from a supportive and determined senior leadership team who are committed to moving the school forward.
The school is currently going through a period of reform and improvement and over the past 2 years have dedicated a lot of time to improving the curriculum. Ofsted has stated that Improvement is unmistakable, teachers use their great knowledge of the subject material to help students and pupils progress has approved accordingly. Pupils behave well in lessons and out, are respectful, courteous and positive.
The role
The school is looking to recruit an ambitious and forward-thinking Electronics Teacher to start in January 2020. The successful teacher will be a member of a supportive and well-resourced department and be required to teach Electronics up to key stage 3-5.
You'll join a team ranging from newly qualified teachers to highly experienced teachers in the electronics department. The teaching team is collaborative and supportive of NQTs and offers great career progression, CPD and TLRs for experienced teachers.
To be considered for this Electronics teacher role you must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• PGCE in a related degree
• Experience teaching Electronics KS3-KS5
