If you have prior experience working with SEND pupils, either within the classroom or in another setting, protocol would love to hear from you.

Protocol are currently working with a large school in Hackney who are looking for patient, reliable and enthusiastic support staff to join their team.

You will be joining a large team of SEND support workers and can expect support from both colleagues and the SLT. In their most recent OFSTED, the schools SEN provisions were rated Outstanding' and the successful applicant can expect brilliant facilities and resources.

The pupils you will be supporting have a range of SEND from behavioural problems, Autism, and Profound Multiple Learning disabilities (PMLD). Prior experience is therefore essential.

Any knowledge of PEC's, Makaton or Team Teach is highly desirable.

There are good transport links to the school which is a short walk from the closest tube station.

The ideal candidate will;

•Have prior experience working with SEND students, either in the classroom or within the wider community
•Live locally to Tower Hamlets or can travel to Hackney easily
•Be educated to a degree level (2:1 or above desirable)
•A degree closely related to SEN would be highly beneficial
•Enthusiastic and energetic with a real desire to make a difference to life of your students
•Be professional at all times, adhering to the relevant safeguarding procedures at all times
•Flexible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
