Protocol Education are currently recruiting for 3 SEND Teaching Assistants to work with a lovely SEN school based in North Bristol. The school is set in a lovely building with great facilities which offer unique and supported learning opportunities for all students.

The students that attend the school have complex learning needs and disabilities, all having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan. The school prides itself, as being part of a trust, they aim to support every child in order that they can develop their self-esteem, achieve appropriate and challenging personal targets and develop an enthusiasm for learning so that they can make the most of opportunities presented to them. All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be.

Class sizes are up to 10 children per class to ensure the most suitable and supportive learning environment is secure. Classes are made up of 1 teacher and 2 TA's to support children's individual needs, making this a hugely rewarding role to be part of as a proactive and meaningful team member, to make a difference in children's lives.

Staff will be supported by an extremely passionate and available senior leadership team.

The ideal teaching assistant will be professional and passionate about SEN and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual need

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
