General Teaching Assistant

At Protocol Education we are currently actively recruiting enthusiastic, motivated and flexible Teaching Assistants. You will be taking on daily supply roles at various schools in the Wolverhampton borough, with the opportunity to go long-term. We will need you to have previous experience in a school setting or have worked with children previously.

Have experience with SEN would be beneficial but it is not required.

This opportunity gives you the flexibility to work day to day shifts expanding your skills at different schools, building your profile as an excellent Teaching Assistant.

You will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with specific students, assisting them with their class work. Other responsibilities include monitoring the behaviour and progress of small groups working on a supported curriculum.

We will require you to be;
Level 3 Qualified
Compassionate and caring
Good knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
High expectations of themselves and our children.
Good communication skills with an ability to record and report on children's progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
