Protocol Education are looking for a Nursery Room Leader/Manager who is committed to ensuring that all children receive exceptional care. We are looking for a Room Leader for a beautiful nursery in the Wimbledon area, and someone who is an inspirational practitioner and can motivate a team to deliver rich learning opportunities through unique and exciting environments.

Key responsibilities: Manage the practitioners and quality of childcare within a room Ensuring stimulating and inspiring activities are provided for the children in the room Assisting with the monitoring of staff performance within the room Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills Coach and mentor practitioners to deliver high quality childcare

The skills set & experience:
• A commitment and dedication to deliver exceptional childcare
• Minimum 2 years Childcare experience
• Qualification - NNEB, BTEC, NVQ 3, or equivalent childcare qualification
• Committed to your own career development.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
