We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager wishing to join our team. The job is based in the heart of Ealing where you would be working in our beautiful and spacious nursery.

This would be an excellent opportunity for people with previous managerial experience in a nursery wishing to join a brand new setting.

Main Duties

• Maintain and achieve high levels of care and education

• Ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are always implemented and adhered to

• Effectively manage occupancy levels and budgets

• Manage operations day to day, including HR, marketing and health and safety

• Management of the nursery

• Offer a supportive and nurturing environment to all your team members including with a strong focus in leading and inspiring them to provide an excellent service to all the families using the nursery

• Driven to maintain a good or outstanding Ofsted report

• Successfully plan and manage the commercial success of the setting

To be successful . . .

• You will hold a full and relevant Level 3 and above (equivalent) Childcare qualification
• You will be able to show examples of strong leadership skills and motivational skills
• You will be reliable and responsible, putting the child's safety and wellbeing first
• You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a nursery setting
• You will have knowledge supervision strategies and how to support the team
• You will actively promote safeguarding and knowing what to do in various situations
• You will support your team members through all aspects of childcare
You will have had previous managerial experience working as a senior member of staff or current 3rd degree in charge


Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
