Description
Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner in Camden for our baby and toddler room. The position is a temp to perm role.
About Us
This nursery provides care and education for children aged 0 5 years old between the hours of 8am and 6pm, 49 weeks of the year.
All the children enjoy a solid provision of childcare with tailored activities and experiences appropriate to their age and development. Play is imperative for the children to help them to understand and explore a wide variety of subject areas.

Your role
Supporting children in working towards their Early Years learning goals
Planning, preparing and implementing children's daily activities
Observing, supporting and extending children's learning
Creating individual learning journey records and evaluating key children's learning and development progress

You will need to have

A level 3 Nursery Nurse qualification such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent
A minimum of 1 years working experience
Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Experience of carrying out children's observations and developmental reports
Solid knowledge of the latest EYFS framework working

Key responsibilities

Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
