A special needs school in Hayes is looking for Learning Support Assistants to help and develop pupils with special needs between ages of 5-11. The main aim is to encourage challenging children to achieve their best.

The clients mission statement is to ensure children always feel happy, safe, loved and respected. You will be supporting students in different areas of learning and development split across 5 classes. You will be working closely with play therapists, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists.

This will be a position for 5 days a week on a long-term basis and will require true passion and dedication towards helping children grow their skills and begin their journeys towards becoming successful adults.

About the role:
-Classroom support for children between the ages of 5-11.
-Weekly pay & Immediate start.
-Working hours: 8.30-16.00pm.
-Daily pay of £60-75.
-Nearby transport links and on-site free parking.

Specific duties:
-Keeping a good relationship with parents/carers.
-In depth assessments of pupils learning needs.
-Planning and preparing lessons.
-Support all needs required by pupils.
-Encouraging self-confidence and independence for each student.

Requirements:
-Positive can-do attitude.
-Great teamwork and communication skills.
-Have proven experience with working with special needs.
-Be able to provide a DBS on the update system and 2 references from most recent employers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
