Protocol Education are seeking a driven and motivated Early Years Educator for a full day care setting on the outskirts of Croydon.

The ideal candidate will have a level 3 childcare qualification, although training can be provided for the right person. Good baby room experience is highly desirable as the post is based with children aged 0-18m, so you will need to be able to demonstrate how you can contribute to the learning and development of this young age group.

The nursery boasts a light and spacious environment, and the children benefit from the natural resources as well as the inviting outdoor play spaces. The setting is easily commutable, and staff have access to a large car park with a local Bus route that stops nearby. The role is offered as a full time position, working 4 long days and one short although the setting can be flexible for the right candidate. The role benefits from a full training package and uniform will be provided in addition to 10 weeks paid leave a year with a starting salary of £17,000-£19,000 with potential to progress within the setting.

Early Years Educator Specification
• Full and relevant Childcare qualification at a Level 3 or equivalent preferred although training can be provided
• Strong knowledge of how to keep children safe within a nursery environment.
• Child centered, strong drive to deliver quality child care.
• Good understanding of the EYFS, with excellent knowledge of child development age 0-2

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
