Protocol Education is working on behalf of Surrey County Council to provide private tutoring for a 13-year-old boy that is not currently attending school.
The role would require regular tuition, days and timings to be agreed with the family but most likely to be 2-3 hours per day. The location is also up for negotiation.
The boy has been diagnosed with Anxiety, ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, however is well-behaved and responds well to praise. He is a competent reader and talented artist, he also enjoys cooking and is methodical in his approach.
He will require a structured and supportive learning environment, where the rules are explicit and directly taught and supported. These expectations need to be consistently acknowledged and rewarded.
