This is a true opportunity to work for this outstanding and established childcare provider situated in South Woodford, Redbridge. The role is for a Room Leader to lead a team in the baby room. My client is looking for a Qualified Practitioner to be a valued member of a professional, committed and a very friendly team.

What we are looking for:
  • Someone who can lead a staff team to deliver high standards for the children
  • Experience of being responsible for a team of staff
  • An excellent role model to the staff and children at all times
  • Someone who has a good understanding of the EYFS and to be able to use this to plan activities for the children
  • Someone who is aware of planning, observing and record keeping for young children and the ability to link these to the individual child's needs
  • Someone who can be inspirational to those working with them and motivate them to succeed
  • This role could suit a person looking to make their first steps into a senior role in a nursery
  • Offering training and support to Room Leaders to help them succeed in the role
  • The successful candidate will have the interpersonal skills to enjoy positive healthy relationships with nursery parents and colleagues

You will ideally have:
  • An NNEB, NVQ, Cache level 2 or 3 or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare / Nursery Nurse
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
