A 'GOOD' Primary school close to West Drayton are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join them on a temp to perm contract from January to work within their Early Years setting.
Initially for two terms there is the opportunity for a permanent contract next September for the right person. They position is Monday-Friday 8:30-4 however 4 days a week may be an option.
You will be working with groups of children within Reception who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, the main part of your role will be to support with their speech and language development, as well as support with therapy that they need. There will be training provided for this position, however you will need to have an understanding and experience of working with children with SEND.
Experience and use of PECS and MAKATON would be a distinct advantage.
