Amazing Large Nursery setting, a real home from environment
Welcoming staff team, with true passion and dedication to providing a rich, exciting learning environment for children in early years
The setting has a fantastic range of resources and a huge outdoor environment fit for all ages (including adults).
My client is a privately-run nursery pleasantly located in Redland, based very close to the Downs and ten minutes from the city centre. They provide a warm and friendly environment for children aged from six weeks to five years and are open from Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.50pm excluding public holidays (a 7.30am start is on offer for an extra payment).
My client is looking for a QUALIFIED baby room practitioner to join their friendly staff team
The role will be working 37-40 hours per week (earliest start will be 7:45 and latest finish will be 6pm)
Key responsibilities of Qualified Practitioner:
Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Supervise mealtimes
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
