Our client is a secondary special school for students with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will be working in a practical based environment helping students to become successful adults. The aim is to sustain relationships and employment, maintain healthy households and teach these students how to help and manage their feelings.

This role requires excellent skills and major dedication, if you have what it takes then this may be the role for you.

About the role:
-Working hours: 8.30-16.00pm.
-Daily rate: £60-£75.
-5 days a week and an immediate start.
-Long term contract available till end of the academic year.
-Many transport links in the surrounding area.
-Free on-site parking for drivers.

Specific duties:
-Assisting teachers to plan and prepare lessons.
-Working together with parents/carers to keep them up to date with student progression.
-Work with pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.
-Provide positive learning experiences to make students feel equal and valued.
-Respond to individual needs appropriately.

Requirements:
-Able to think quickly on your feet and use initiative.
-Work well individually as well as a team.
-Have some experience working with special needs with people of different ages.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS on the update service.
-Passionate and committed individual.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
