What is the Montessori Approach?
The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centred educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. ... It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child-physical, social, emotional, cognitive.

My client operates as a home environment. This is entirely intentional and allows children to make themselves members of the nursery community. They pride themselves on their homely feel and the children take pride in the maintenance of their environment (children take responsibility in keeping their environment clean and organised)

The setting has carefully planned the layout of the setting which enables children to free flow throughout the building, the nursery practices that all children's learning is self-directed. Careful planning of rooms are also ensured that the rooms promote and stimulate a child's independence and intellectual development.
