My client is a multi-site provision supporting children from early years up to key stage five is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and passionate learning support assistant. The school caters for a variety of pupils who are not able to be educated within the mainstream setting.

The client believes every child matters, and each deserve world class education which will enable them to thrive and achieve. They have the highest expectation of their students and would like the ideal candidate to encourage this and help raise the pupil's self-esteem so they realise and accept strength and success.

About the role:
-Immediate start with flexibility to work 5 days a week.
-Working hours between 8.30-4.00pm.
-Based in the Hounslow area.
-Working on a long-term basis.
-Daily rate between £60-£75.

Specific duties:
-Help SEN pupils to achieve their full potential and build their confidence.
-Working alongside teachers to assess pupils' levels and abilities.
-Using widget symbols and sign language to communicate and teach students daily.
-Liaising with parents and carers regularly.
-Working in a classroom environment as well as on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements:
-Must be confident to support young people in developing their skills.
-Flexible to start immediately and work 5 days a week.
-Experience in mentoring, teaching, carer for those who have challenging behaviour or complex learning difficulties.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
-Be able to provide 2 references from most recent employers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
