Are you an outstanding, creative classroom teacher? Do you want to develop your career in a thriving and expanding school, working with students who have complex needs?

A school in Lewisham that supports children and young people aged 10-19 who have severe learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge, and communication difficulties. You will support a class of up to 8 children many of whom are on the autism spectrum.

You will inspire and lead a team of learning support staff and be key to ensuring all teams (behaviour, residential, therapy and families) work holistically to provide the best possible outcomes and experiences for our children and young people.

For this role you must hold QTS and will ideally have completed your NQT year. Experience of TEACCH and PECS would be an advantage, as would the ability to offer a specialism. Primary or secondary education is accepted.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
