Protocol Education are looking for graduate or newly experienced teaching assistants to work in our Outstanding Schools in South London. The schools are looking for newly experienced teachings with an interest about working in education and special needs. As part of the role you will be have the opportunity to support both academic studies and life skills such as; shopping, cooking and working within the community. As part of the role you will be working 1:1 or lead small groups of learners with special needs.

This is a full-time support position and is available to start from January 2020.

Main Responsibilities:
• Supporting students 1:1 with numeracy, literacy & sensory integration
• Developing visual cues to support structure
• Encouraging social skills and independent living through community work I.e. shopping, visiting the local farm & cooking
• Assessing pupils' levels and ability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
