Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant
Are you experienced with the Early Years foundation stage and with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
I am currently seeking an experienced Reception Teaching Assistant initially for a two term maternity cover with the potential for extension leading to a permanent contract.
You will be working with an experienced Teacher and a friendly Early Years team to provide outstanding education and support to the newest additions to the school. As well as supporting more generally in the classroom you will have responsibilities for undertaking group interventions with children with Speech and Language needs within the class.
You will need to have good working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and have experience of conducting observations and interventions within a Reception Class. Any experience of PECs or Makaton or supporting with speech and language more generally would be very helpful in this post.
In return you will get a competitive daily rate of pay depending on experience, as well as term time working hours and an enjoyable and flexible working environment where your skills and experience will be appreciated.
