This vibrant and supportive Primary School is seeking a enthusiastic and flexible Learning Support Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The role will mainly be supporting children who have been identified with Autism and Learning Difficulties, however, at some points in the role you will be expected to support children with SEMH, MLD and Physical and Sensory Disabilities.

The Primary school works closely with a local specialist SEN school offering training and support to all staff members, SLT are passionate about personal development and support staffs want for progression.

The right candidate must have;

- Previous experience in a school or education setting supporting children with SEN
- Passionate about Special Educational Needs
- Have excellent communication skills and an outgoing, proactive and positive attitude
- Flexible to work across the school supporting individuals and small groups of students
- Great team player
- Confident and willing to assist with everyday needs of the child such as; Speech and Language, motor skills, communication (PECS or Makaton experience is ideal), feeding and personal care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
