My client is currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Primary Assitant to work with a year 1 pupil with autism. The ideal candidates must be patient and have knowledge of working with Autism. PECS and Makaton training would be of an advantage.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working 1:1 with students with Autism. Previous experience supporting young people with SEN will be an advantage to your application.
Teaching Assistant roles in this school are highly needed and suitable candidates will be employed by the school subject to a successful period.
To be eligible for this role you must:
Be able to provide 2 references, covering a minimum 6 month period within the last year, from senior members of staff.
Hold or be prepared for us to apply for a full DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
