SEN Teaching Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident individuals seeking a full-time roles in the Barnet area. This role requires commitment, and we are looking for a flexible and resourceful individual, able to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 child with Autism and assist with their behaviour and learning. The successful candidate will liaise with the SENCo and parents to ensure the child makes positive progress.

We are looking for an individual who:
Has experience working with children with SEN, in particular Autism.
Has a passion for providing support that contribute towards children's development, happiness and enjoyment
Strong behaviour management techniques
Good knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum, health and safety, security, equal opportunities and confidentiality.
Commitment to this role is essential to provide the child with continuity

The right candidate will have:
Previous experience
A proven ability to well with SEN and Challenging behaviour
A high level of communication skills/the ability to relate positively to children and adults
Right to work in the UK and DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
