A lovely newly refurbished nursery in Wandsworth is looking to recruit a qualified Nursery Practitioner (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) to join a thriving team. You will be working alongside other qualified members of staff in a lively and friendly setting. It is a small, local, family run group where children are really at the heart of everything they do. The nursery was established in Clapham in 1985 and now has two beautiful sites with spacious and colourful outdoor areas.

Your key day-to-day tasks would include:
• Observe, plan and asses children's learning and development
• Ensuring you provide a warm and caring atmosphere for the children


Job Description:
• Safeguarding the children
• Working with children between 0-5 years as a key person, writing observations for individual learning journals
• You will be creating new and inspiring activities that link to the EYFS stages of development
• You will be working as part of a team to ensure a smooth running of the classroom
• Developing a strong partnership with parents
• Adhering to and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
