Sports Coach - Secondary School - Leeds
Are you thinking of getting into teaching or looking for a door into education? Do you want to get experience of working with secondary children but are unsure where to start?
We are currently recruiting for Sports Coaches for a variety of day-to-day, short and long-term roles in several schools across the Leeds and North Yorkshire area. You will enjoy inspiring students to succeed despite their barriers to learning. You must have a patient and positive outlook and the willingness to adapt to different situations. Opportunities within KS3, KS4 & KS5 are available.
We are looking forward to meeting you if you are a graduate calibre candidate or you have good experience working with children/young people. You will hold excellent behavioural management skills and have a strong interest in working within Secondary Schools. You will have a sporting background, sporting qualifications and the confidence to work within a school environment, with the ability to build rapport with pupils and other staff members.
Typical School hours are 8.30am-3.30pm .

You should have:
•GCSE Maths and English
•Sports qualification/experience
•Experience working with children/young people
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Strong behaviour management
•Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and emphatic listening skills
You must have a recent DBS that is on the DBS update service or be prepared to undertake a new DBS with us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
