We are looking for a learning support assistant to work in an academy in Feltham with 4-18-year olds. You will play a big part in transforming the lives of SEN pupils by providing the right skills, attitudes and qualifications.

You will need to keep a close relationship with children, parents, teachers and other specialists to ensure children are getting the most they can get from you. You must always inform parents of any concerns or praises you have with the child and keep a close eye and monitor every individual child's needs.

About the role:
-Supporting children who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
-Daily rate between £60-£75
-Working hours of 8.30-16.00pm for 5 days a week.
-Long term contract till end of academic year.
-Plenty of on-site parking and quick, easy transport links nearby.

Specific duties:
-Planning and preparing engaging and interactive lessons.
-Reporting and evaluation individual student progression.
-Helping children identify and acknowledge socially acceptable patterns of behaviour.
-Work towards building a secure and stable environment for each child to grow.
-Develop home/school relationships towards children and their families.

Requirements:
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Good knowledge of severe learning difficulties.
-Ability to work both individually as well as part of a team.
-Passionate about working in SEN and confidence in providing students to work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
