Are you an outstanding Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with experience support children with SEND's? Are you seeking a challenging but rewarding role within a Secondary School within the boroughs of East London, If so then we would love to hear from you!

At Protocol Education our Secondary division are currently seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable support staff who have previous experience working with pupils with SEND, roles will require you to work with students on a one to one basis and small groups of pupils. Our team here at Protocol work with various secondary schools who are seeking one to one support for vulnerable children and general support within their SEND department. The successful candidate must be able to support students that may suffer with challenging behaviour and specific learning difficulties. You will be supported by other members of staff, receive activates set by the Teacher and SENDCo and will support children with their attainment and progress.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about taking on the challenges that come with supporting SEND students therefore you will need to be a patient, enthusiastic and nurturing individual.

•Newham
•Barking & Dagenham
•Redbridge
•Havering
•Hackney

Role Requirements:

•A clean and current DBS preferably on the Update Service
•Previous experience working with SEND students
•The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and individually.
•The ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
•Excellent behaviour management skills
•Experience of working with pupils with moderate learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and behavioural and emotional difficulties.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
