A primary SEN school in New Addington, Croydon is looking for support workers to join their team on a flexible basis to begin with but with the view to go permanent. The school are in need for more staff due to increased head count on the school roll and increased care responsibility in the classroom. All applicants must have recent experience working with children with special educational needs, in either a primary school or specialist SEN environment. The class consists of 5-8 pupils with a broad range of learning difficulties and complex medical needs.

For this role:
  • Experience working in SEN or in learning support department within a mainstream school
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults in a care capacity
  • Available at least 3 days per week
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Able to provide 2 references - 1 must be either child care or care related.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
