Protocol education are recruiting for Higher Level Teaching Assistants across Walsall area. An HLTA qualification or experience of working as a specialist TA or QTS. The school aim is to create a nurturing, secure and happy environment where everyone cares and respects each other. Pupils respond well to creative and varied opportunities which allow all children to thrive in one way or another.

Our ideal candidate:
*Is an excellent Specialist/ Higher Level Teaching Assistant, who loves working with children.
*This vacancy would also suit a qualified teacher who is planning to return to teaching after a break or is planning to cut down on their teaching commitments.
*Can recognise children's misconceptions and knows the small steps of learning needed to address children's gaps in learning.
*Has successful experience of accelerating progress of children who are not working consistently at age-related expectations.
*Has high expectations for all children and would be committed to help them fulfil their potential.
*Is able to motivate and support our children.
*A team player who works effectively and collaboratively with others, especially class teachers and other members of staff carrying out this intervention.
*Previous experience of working in a school environment, especially a knowledge of phonics and experience of leading small groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
