Are you looking to progress your career in the education sector? At Protocol we have an amazing opportunity in a highly committed SEN school in Hayes. The aim is to support children between the ages 4-11 with Autism and commit towards achieving an excellent team around the child.

You will need to keep a close relationship with the parents/carers of each child and always provide a whole school, whole pupil approach by supporting, nurturing and providing independence to enable them to have full confidence to achieve at school.

You will be working with children on both a 1:1 and group basis and be confident enough to understand the specific needs of each child. You will need to be positive and enthusiastic to be a real role model for these young pupils. If you feel like you have the right skills and attributes, this may be the ideal role for you.

About the role:
-Daily rate between £60-£75
-Working hours of 8.30-16.00pm for 5 days a week.
-Long term contract till end of academic year.
-Plenty of on-site parking and quick, easy transport links nearby.
-Immediate start and weekly pay.

Specific duties:
-Working with individuals as well as groups of pupils.
-Keeping a close relationship with parents to ensure they are up to date with their child's progress.
-Planning and preparing engaging and interactive lessons.
-Working alongside a wide range of SEN professionals, carers and social workers frequently.
-Dealing with personal care.

Requirements:
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Warm, friendly, proactive approach to work.
-Flexible in a challenging scenery.
-Passionate about working in SEN and confidence in providing students to work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
