Protocol Education are working with Primary Schools across East London to provide graduates with paid work experience in schools to help them decide if becoming a teacher is the right path for them. Whilst working at a school, you will be surrounded by experienced and qualified staff who will support you throughout your journey. This programme provides you with online CPD courses to help you improve your teaching skills, these include;

- Pedagogy and practise
- Managing behaviour
- Assessment and feedback
- Curriculum
- Professional behaviours
- Adaptive teaching and SEN

The schools we work with have a number of opportunities from Early Years to Key Stage 2. You will be supporting children within the class and on a one to one basis. If you are certain that teaching is for you after this placement can open doors to future teacher training opportunities such as Teach First and Schools Direct.

To apply you must have:
- Recent degree
- Interest in becoming a future Primary Teacher
- Passionate about working with children
- Ideally some experience working with children

Please note. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
