My client is looking for a SEN teaching assistant in Southall to help students with reading, writing, listening, physical and social skills. As children learn at different speeds and in different ways, we are looking for someone patient and caring that is always up for a challenge.

You will be supporting children at a young age between 4-11 in a heart-warming and friendly environment. Our client puts the child and their family in the heart of everything they do by having parent link sessions and a range of psychological and therapeutic services for autism and challenging behaviour. Therefore, we are looking for someone with good communication skills and a real passion for helping these young children succeed in life.

If you have experience working with Autism and challenging behaviour or are willing to do sufficient amount of training to gain these skills, then this may be the ideal role for you!

About the role:
-Immediate start with flexibility to work 5 days a week.
-Working hours between 8.30-4.00pm.
-Free On-Site Parking
-Working on a long-term basis.
-Daily rate between £60-£75.

Specific duties:
-Strong team player.
-Recognise and celebrate talents.
-Provide confidence to individual SEN students in preparation to life after college.
-Plan lessons and tasks as well as monitoring individual progression.
-Manage pupils individually as well as on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements:
-Good knowledge in special needs.
-Be able to work flexibly.
-Experience in mentoring, teaching, carer for those who have challenging behaviour or complex learning difficulties.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
-Be able to provide 2 references from most recent employers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
