Modern Foreign Languages Teacher - Leeds

A vibrant and successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in Leeds is looking to appoint an MFL Teacher to teach both French and Spanish to start as soon as possible. There are two teaching roles available one being a Maternity cover.

The role and department: A French and Spanish Teacher who is enthusiastic about languages and committed to improving the skills of all students. You will be supported by a strong MFL team working together in a well-resourced and thriving department.

The School: The school offers a rich programme of extra-curricular activities including clubs, workshops, talks from visiting experts, educational visits and residential trips, all of which provide an exciting and dynamic range of opportunities for students to learn and grow, both academically and personally.

We are looking for:
• Qualified MFL Teacher with QTS/QTLS
• Recent teaching experience with the current curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Ability to build a strong, professional rapport with both students and staff
• Dedicated to making a difference to students' learning
• Full understanding of safeguarding procedures
• Up to date DBS check - or be willing to complete one
• Able to provide solid, recent professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
