We are recruiting for a passionate and vibrant individual to fill the role of Room Leader in our fun and engaging nursery, based in Ealing.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of our friendly team and work alongside some of the best Nursery Nurses and Assistants in London.

Your role as Room Leader will consist of:

Delivering and planning learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meet their individual needs.

You will need experience and be confident in making accurate and effective assessments of nursery children. You will be expected to meet the needs, interests and stages of development of the child.

Ensuring that the environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area.

Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.

Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through Early Years Foundation Stage learning and play.

Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection.

Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies.

Promote and follow guidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children to manage their own feelings and behaviours.

Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the needs of the children.

Essential Experience:
Post qualified experience of working within the Early Years sector.
Previous experience of working as a key person.

Qualifications Essential:
Full and relevant Level 3 and or above (equivalent) Childcare qualification
Current Paediatric First Aid if qualified after 30/06/2016.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
