A south west Durham school is currently recruiting for a teacher of art to cover a maternity leave. The position is to begin in February 2020. The successful candidate will be required to teach Btec, GCSE and A level


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be passionate for teaching with the ability to deliver Art lessons to the highest quality
• Compassionate and respectable towards staff and students alike
• Demonstrate commitment to education and the development of pupils
• Create dynamic and inspiring teaching methods

To apply for this role, you must:

• Have experience teaching Art in a secondary environment.
Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it, or another relevant teaching qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
