Nursery Nurse
I am working with a number of Nurseries who are looking for casual staff to cover on a supply basis. The hours can be from 8am to 6pm but different shifts are needed throughout the day so shorter shifts are available.
Main Responsibilities:
• Implement the daily routine in designated room
• Supporting team with planning and carrying out activities
• Ensuring that you give high quality childcare
• Monitoring and assessing development and progress
• To be able to understand and practise children's development, learning, inclusion and play
• Recording and reporting incidents
• Taking up other duties as required by the Nursery Manager
Requirements:
• Flexible through the week
• Level2/3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• Excellent time keeping
• Two excellent references
• Clear and current DBS
• Positive and enthusiastic for taking work
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
