Protocol Education are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who really wants to make a difference and help a severely Autistic child connect with the rest of the world. The School is based in Hackney.

Over the years, different diagnostic labels have been used, such as autism, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), autism spectrum condition (ASC), classic autism, Kanner autism, pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), high-functioning autism (HFA), Asperger syndrome and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

Other experience and qualifications which is preferable:
• Confidence implementing support techniques, such as PEC's & Makaton
• Team Teach qualified


Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references, as well as possessing an up to date DBS or be willing to apply for one through Protocol Education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
