Protocol Education is a leading education recruitment company; we help teachers and support assistants find work with a range of SEN schools in the Newcastle area and are hiring Behaviour Support and SEMH Teaching Assistants.

You will be responsible for supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis; you may be required to run intervention activities and report to staff members on pupils ongoing needs and progress both academically and socially. You will also be managing challenging behaviour in the classroom.

Person Specification
• Exhibit patience and compassion
• Be supportive, kind and nurturing.
• Experience of working in the SEND sector with emphasis on behavioural issues.
• Must be able to support whilst maintaining authority in your role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
