Protocol are looking for learning support assistants/teaching assistants that have experience using British sign language (BSL).
Successful candidates will be required to support and help the development of hearing impaired students across all ages, support academic studies, develop students social and communication skills in a classroom setting.

Skills and qualifications required:
• Certified in British Sign language (BSL) level 2 or above
• Communicate with parents and carers
• Able to relay BSL from hearing impaired students to non-signing students or adults.
• Excellent strategic & communication skills, the ability to use initiative and that can work well under pressure.
• Positions are subject to an enhance disclosure barred service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
