We are currently recruiting for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide support within the Experts at Hand service in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Occupational Therapists with assessments and interventions
- Assist with the delivery of therapy programmes under the guidance of qualified OTs
- Work with children, young people and families to support positive outcomes
- Liaise with schools, families and other professionals
- Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting children and young people
Requirements:
- Relevant Occupational Therapy Assistant experience
- Experience working with children and young people is desirable
- Ability to follow therapy programmes and professional guidance
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong teamwork and organisational skills
