Bedford Borough Council are currently recruiting an experienced Transformation and Improvement Lead for their Adults Services.
37 hours per week
Minimum 3 days per week on-site
Must have substantial experience in working in local authority Adults Services, operating at Head of Service or above level.
The Transformation and Improvement Lead will provide dedicated senior capacity to drive delivery of transformation and improvement programmes across the Adults’ Services. Working closely with Directors, Heads of Service and corporate enabling teams, the postholder will translate strategic priorities into deliverable programmes that achieve measurable service improvements, financial sustainability and positive outcomes for residents.
The role requires an experienced and credible leader who can operate effectively within a complex and politically aware environment, develop robust business cases, challenge constructively, remove barriers to delivery and ensure benefits are realised.
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules. This is an agency post and Pertemps can offer you: -
