They are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Working Supervisor who will be based in the Glasgow/Edinburgh areas to work on fitout and refurbishment contracts.

Job details and responsibilities

The role of Working Supervisor acts as a supporting role to the site management team. You should be a strong team player with a decisive problem-solving ability and excellent time management skills. The Working Supervisor will carry out a variety of shift patterns to meet Client requirements including but not limited to day shift, back shift, nightshift and weekend working.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Delivering toolbox talks
  • Analysing RAMS
  • Communicating and working alongside senior management
  • Coordinating site operative’s workload
  • Conducting Health & Safety
 

Benefits of your new role

The salary for this role is £40,000 per annum with a company car or car allowance included. A CSCS and SSSTS is essential. A CITB 1 + UKATA Asbestos awareness is desirable. You will also need to be qualified in First Aid and hold a Full UK Driver’s License.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Health & Safety coupled with a strong sense of client focus. You will have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non–technical people – including Clients, is essential in this role. Hours of Work are: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday.
