My client is the largest dedicated IT training company, providing over 3,000 unique courses. Over the past 30 years, both large and small technology providers, enterprises, and governments around the world, have been approaching my client for their fantastic services. With such success and growth, they have expanded and now have offices across the globe. My client is a much respected and accomplished company, providing modern office facilities.

Due to their phenomenal growth and success, my client is looking for an ambitious, hard-working Business Development / Telesales Executive with proven record of sales, and successful experience within an apprenticeship, recruitment or training service provider, to join their team 

Job Role:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads on public scheduled training courses run by the organisation. You will develop new business via telephone, email and social media with the support of the internal marketing team and contribute to the overall financial performance of the regional team, and reporting to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Sell places on public scheduled training courses run, and sell Personal and Knowledge Passes in order to achieve given sales targets.
  • Ensure a minimum number of telephone calls and conversations are completed each day against given targets.
  • Target a specific numbers of given accounts and be proactive in finding new business.
  • Produce sales forecasts and record this information on the CRM system.
  • Proactively provide information on the organisation, its products and solutions with the aim being to maximise the sales opportunity. 
  • Clean the customer database and profile customer information from telesales calls.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years’ previous experience in a telesales role is essential, preferably in a role where consultative sales skills were required.
  • Experience in IT Sales would be preferable or a graduate with a degree qualification, preferably Business or IT related
  • Experience of sales in the training industry would be beneficial,
  • Must be outgoing with a confident and professional telephone manner. 
  • Sound knowledge of IT Systems
  • Excellent administration and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work towards a sales pipeline
  • Strong network of recruitment, employer and placement agencies/partners
  • Persistent, tenacious and collaborative
  • Able to present to employers and build long lasting relationships with clients 
Objectives of the Role:
  • Work with the team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Support Head of Sales with the administration of sales paperwork, the accurate recording of sales information
  • Achieve all agreed KPIS, monthly actions and objectives
