Bamboo Childcare are recruiting for a Assistant Nursery Manager/Room Leader based with an independent setting in Henley upon Thames
The full timerole involves supporting the manager and Co Deputy Manager run the setting. The role would be based in either the pre-school or Baby Room. Time is given out of ratio to enable admin, staff supervision, training etc. You will be responsible for leading the curriculum, ensuring staff's knowledge is up to date whilst identifying areas of development and training.
This role would suit wither an existing Deputy Manager looking to work in an Outstanding Nursery to broaden their skills experience or a room leader wanting that next step up.

- Experience as an assistant nursery manager or as a room leader.
- As a minimum be qualified to Level 3 in Childcare.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
- An in depth knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable
