A Room leader is being sourced within a large Nursery based in Crouch Hill in North London.
The nursery is part of a friendly collection of nurseries that take a unique approach to play and learning.
Successful candidates must have:
• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS
For Room leader must have:
• Experience of being a Senior Nursery nurse or a room leader
• The ability to support and manage a small staff team
• To be able to plan short and long term activities within the EYFS
Some of the duties are as follows:
• To regularly review, develop and monitor the curriculum and activities
available to children to ensure that high standards of childcare are
maintained.
• To provide for the safety and well-being of children taking account of
their social, recreational and individual developmental needs and to
keep appropriate records of evidence of this.
• To model good practice to staff and provide individual/group supervision
of play staff and any trainees.
• To attend courses and disseminate information from these to other staff.
• To identify staff training needs in consultation with the Senior
Management Team.
