A Nursery nurse is being sourced within a large Nursery based in Muswell Hill, North London.
The nursery is part of a small friendly collection of nurseries that take a unique approach to play and learning with designated areas for performing arts, arts & crafts, science and IT.
Children are grouped in rooms according to their age range. Great emphasis is placed on light and space, and the creation of specific studios suitable for use for Performing Arts (including music, drama, dance, ballet and a full range of indoor and outdoor sports), Art, Science and IT where you can introduce children to experiments, cookery, dinosaurs, the planets and indeed whatever the creative minds of the teachers (and children) wish to achieve
Successful candidates must have:
• A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS
Some of the duties are as follows:
• To regularly review, develop and monitor the curriculum and activities
available to children to ensure that high standards of childcare are
maintained.
• To provide for the safety and well-being of children taking account of
their social, recreational and individual developmental needs and to
keep appropriate records of evidence of this.
