The Role:
- Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across the relevant secondary school year groups.
- Teach practical cooking skills, food preparation, nutrition and food safety.
- Plan and deliver creative lessons that motivate students of different abilities.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety within the food technology department.
- Support students in developing their confidence, creativity and independent learning skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has relevant teaching experience in Food Technology.
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for food education.
- Can manage a classroom effectively and build positive relationships with students.
- Is committed to supporting student progress and achievement.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and able to make a positive contribution to the school community.
