We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable franchise-approved dealership in Hereford for a Vehicle Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team in a busy Service Department, offering competitive salary packages and excellent career prospects.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Starting salary between £30,000–£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Uncapped monthly bonus scheme, with potential earnings of £40,000–£45,000 OTE per year
  • Paid overtime at time and a half rate
  • 31 days annual leave, including bank holidays, increasing with length of service

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on customers’ vehicles in line with franchise standards
  • Accurately identify faults and report vehicle condition, safety, and performance issues to the Service Manager
  • Ensure all work complies with quality procedures and franchise guidelines
  • Maintain safety, reliability, and repair standards across all vehicles serviced
  • Support team objectives by working efficiently within a busy, target-driven environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • 1 to 2 years’ practical experience post-qualification in a workshop environment
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong work ethic, motivated, and team-oriented
  • Capable of producing high-quality work under pressure
  • An active MOT Smart Card and experience working on Stellantis vehicles would be advantageous but are not essential
