Location: Isle of Wight, PO30 5YS (Fully site-based)
Salary Range: £24,000 (£12.31 p/h) - £25,000 (£12.82 p/h)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Overtime Agreement: 1.33 (Mon – Fri), 1.5 (Sat), 2 (Sun)

- Operate the baler effectively, including daily operation from the control panel, managing material stocks in the bunker, and changing ancillary goods such as bale wire.
- A Baler Operator operates machinery to compress materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and other recyclable materials into bales for easy transport and storage.
- Monitor the baler’s condition and promptly report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Maintain a clean and safe operating area around the baler.
- Coordinate with the teletruck operator to ensure timely movement of bales.
- Accurately record and report baler data.
- Manage tools and equipment related to baler operations and associated cleaning tasks.

- Prior experience operating industrial machinery.
- IOSH – Working Safely certification.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new skills and challenges.
- Positive attitude with a drive to continuously improve processes.
- Proactive in managing daily tasks.
- Willingness to perform other tasks within your capability as requested by senior management to meet business needs.
